About: He was the son of Steven Best Perry and Margaret L. (Sutton) Perry. He was the husband of Flora (Curless) Perry, and the father of William O., Clara Beula, Albert, and Flora L.
In 1885, he was a station keeper. In 1897, he served as Blocksburg School board member, and the following year as a trustee for the Alderpoint School. He had a homestead near Dobbyns Creek and carried the mail before wagon roads were built in the region.
